Here is an Overland 0109 O Brass NYC J-1E 4-6-4 Steam Locomotive & Tender #5327 (2-Rail) -Painted. Both items feature brass construction, brass trucks, knuckle couplers, and metal wheels. The locomotive is powered and features a motor.
Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world.
This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-3: Good based on visual appearance. The lights are non-functional. The locomotive's trailing truck is broken off of the chassis and is being sold As-Is. The locomotive and tender have numerous broken and missing trim pieces. The locomotive is missing number boards and most of the railing on the shell is bent. The tender's railing pieces are bent at numerous sections. Thew tender's ladder pieces, grab-iron, and step pieces are bent. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis.
